Conceived to glorify the king by Jules Hardouin Mansart, the Vendôme’s square was built at the end of the XVIIth century, as a place of freedom in a Paris full of narrow streets. The 3-5 Vendôme square is a private residence, equipped like a palace, with the most innovative technical installations. This work has permitted rediscovery of the original arrangements of the facades. They have been the point of departure for the campaign of restoration we are actually pursuing on the entire square, restoring notably the alternation of dormer windows and oculi.
