The innovations for this building, inaugurated in 1875 as a symbol of the eclectic art, are still a model for opera houses today! To restore the spirit of Charles Garnier, who wanted his architecture to express ‘dream,’ as is the case with opera lyrics, that was our vision for this restoration which has chosen to find again the polycromy, and the playful, gold plated art of the 18th century, to restore and put back textiles and furniture to their original luxurious splendour: to aim for perfection in order to make the execution timeless!
