The Matignon Hotel

Paris

Built by Jean Courtonne in 1722, the Matignon Hotel is the prime minister’s residence. For fifteen years, the whole monument has been continuously restored, especially the facades and roofing as well as the monumental main staircase and the lounges, respecting the magnificent decor of the 17th and 18th centuries. The whole monument has benefited from the integrated technical equipment which permits a functional use of this place charged with memory.
